Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Rashawn Renee Portraits, every portrait session is thoughtfully planned and reserved exclusively for each client. This policy is designed to provide clarity while ensuring fairness for both our clients and our business. By booking a session or purchasing products from Rashawn Renee Portraits, you acknowledge and agree to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Booking Retainers
A non-refundable retainer may be required to reserve your session date and time. Because your session time is held exclusively for you and may prevent other clients from booking that date, retainers are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your booking agreement. The remaining balance is due according to the payment schedule outlined in your booking confirmation or contract.
Session Cancellations
If you choose to cancel your session, please notify Rashawn Renee Portraits as soon as possible.
Retainers are non-refundable.
Any additional payments made beyond the non-refundable retainer may be handled according to the terms of your individual booking agreement and applicable law.
Rescheduling
We understand that unexpected situations can arise.
If you need to reschedule your portrait session, please contact us as early as possible.
Rescheduling requests are subject to photographer availability. One complimentary reschedule may be offered when reasonable notice is provided. Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
Weather Policy
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled when weather conditions create unsafe or unsuitable photographing conditions. The photographer will determine whether weather requires rescheduling.
There is no additional fee for weather-related rescheduling initiated by Rashawn Renee Portraits.
Photographer Cancellation Policy
In the unlikely event that Rashawn Renee Portraits must cancel a session due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, every effort will be made to reschedule your session.
If rescheduling is not possible, any amounts paid for services not provided will be refunded.
Digital Images
Due to the custom nature of digital photography, all sales of digital image collections are final.
Once digital files have been delivered, downloaded, or otherwise made available, they are non-refundable.
Prints, Albums & Custom Products
Every print, album, canvas, framed artwork, and custom photography product is made specifically for your order. Because these items are custom-produced, all sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are not available unless the product arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing defect. If your order arrives damaged, please notify Rashawn Renee Portraits within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the damaged item so we can assist in resolving the issue.
Gift Certificates & Promotional Offers
Gift certificates are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash unless required by law.
Promotional offers, discounts, and special pricing cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases or combined with other promotions unless specifically stated.
No-Show Policy
Clients who do not attend their scheduled session without prior notice may forfeit all payments made, including any retainer. Future bookings may require payment in full at the time of scheduling.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only when required by law or when Rashawn Renee Portraits is unable to provide the contracted services and a mutually agreeable rescheduled date cannot be arranged.
